Thesis Statement

Starting with the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, the women's suffrage movement in America was a decades long fight for women's right to vote. The women's suffrage movement was one of the most important events in women's history because it gave all women the right to vote, and a chance to have their voice heard and to begin to reverse America's long history of discrimination between the sexes.
